Long respected logistics provider now seeks to hire an Air Freight Team Lead Cork/Shannon
The candidate must possess the following:
- Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record within an administrative management or leading role, ideally within a fast-paced 3PL logistics operation.
- You must have excellent people management skills and be able to work under pressure, Prioritising workload within a busy environment.
- This pivotal role will form part of the site management team with close working relationships with wider operational teams.
- Manage day-to-day queries relating to freight shipments.
- You will be IT proficient able to use various systems and MS packages, possess demonstrable experience of cost control, organisational and problem-solving skills, as well as strong collaborative skills with a mind-set that looks to create a high performance culture.
- It would be preferable, but not essential if you have proven experience of working within an operational finance or HR role.
Skills and Experience:
- At least 5 year’s direct experience working within a freight environment
- A hands-on approach with the ability to maintain priorities and deadlines
- Excellent administrative skills
- The ability to work on own initiative within a team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing demands
