Our client, a leading Freight and Logistics company now requires an Airfreight forwarding Supervisor based in Dublin 15 who will be responsible for the day to day running of the Airfreight department.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Day to day running of Airfreight operations.
- To motivate the Airfreight staff and provide necessary training.
- To review the Airfreight operation department on a day to day basis to ensure that the department is achieving profitability.
- Liaise with customers, subcontractors and overseas offices on a day to day basis to ensure a high level of Customer service.
- Manage KPI reporting
- Ensuring that the costs of the Airfreight department are kept to a minimum.
- Setting up procedures
- Ensuring that all procedures and policies are adhered to
Minimum Requirements:
- Previous experience supervising an Airfreight Forwarding team
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Working knowledge of Customs Procedure
- Good problem solver
- Good working knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent written and verbal Communication Skills
