Are you a Bookkeeper working in the freight or logistics industry with experience of Sage 50? This could be the role for you! This role is available as either full-time or part-time and is an office-based role working from an office in Dublin 15 with responsibility for bookkeeping duties for a busy freight company. You will be responsible for maintaining records, managing day-to-day transactions, and providing information to the management team. The client prides themselves on delivering exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and efficiency. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to support their finance function in conjunction with the company accountant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all Revenue Filings are filed on time (VAT, PAYE)
- Producing the accounts to Trial Balance
- Maintenance of the Debtors and Creditors Ledgers
- Maintaining the posting of purchase and sales invoices
- Maintaining the bank postings
- Posting Journals
- Dealing with customer Orders & queries in connection with their accounts
- Invoicing and processing of claims
Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper in the freight of logistics industry using Sage 50 and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities with fluency in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a busy office.
- Excellent numerical skills
- Ability to work full-time, unrestricted by work permit time restrictions.
Type:
Full-time (9am to 5pm) or part-time (working 10am to 2pm), permanent, office-based, Monday to Friday
Package:
€35-40k – Depending on experience
