A leading Meath-based European transport company is now seeking an experienced Business Development/Commercial Manager. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be tasked with developing new, profitable business in line with agreed targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Arranging business development meetings with prospective clients
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years proven sales experience as a business development manager or sales executive selling European Transport services to the Irish market
- Proven sales track record
- Experience in customer support is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
- Proficiency in English
- Market knowledge (Customers & Competitors)
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport
- Time management and planning skills
