
A South Dublin logistics software development company that specialises in developing software solutions for companies in the Import/Export market sectors, Aviation & Healthcare, now seek to hire a Customer Support Agent for their Customs Clearance product.
You will join a small, experienced support team who provide technical support to clients using their web-based software tools. Working normal office hours and whilst initially an office-based role, after a full in-house training and education program, this role will become hybrid working 2-3 days per week at home.
The Role:
- Become a product expert and support new and existing customers.
- Helping new customers completely unfamiliar with how the product works
- Providing assistance to new customers on minor issues they experience
- Assisting in onboarding and setting up new accounts
- Respond to customer queries in a timely fashion
Required:
- Current customs clearance knowledge with practical experience in completing import entries.
- Minimum 5 years of customer IT support experience.
- Strong proficiency in IT applications and ability to learn new systems and processes and adapt knowledge as required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work under direction but also on own initiative, at times with minimal supervision and sometimes under pressure
- Strong planning and organisational skills, ability to prioritise tasks as required and work to agreed timescales
- Proven track record in troubleshooting and closing out issues to ensure satisfactory resolution in a timely manner
- Ability to communicate to all levels of the organisation
- Customer-focused attitude.
Type:
Full-time, Permanent, Initially office based but moving to hybrid
Package:
€40-50k depending on experience, bonus, healthcare and mobile phone.
