
One of Europe’s leading multimodal logistics providers is now seeking to appoint a Commercial Manager - Ireland. Within this challenging role, you will develop the presence of the brand in Ireland by proactively managing and expanding new and existing customers. You will play a key role in the set-up of commercial strategies in order to reach the defined objectives and further build the commercial organization whilst keeping customer satisfaction at the right level.
Main Tasks:
- Manage and develop the current key accounts ensuring sustainable growth within the account.
- Acquire new customers in the areas of preference indicated by the business needs.
- Develop the presence of the brand in Ireland.
- Focus on analysing the empty equipment in Ireland and translate the capacity into demand with our customers.
- Actively scan the Irish market for business opportunities complementing the company growth strategy.
- Analyse customer sales data and define strategic actions in coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Frequently engage with the local business unit teams in several European offices to provide support in building the commercial relationship with our key account customers.
- Ensure that the appropriate internal procedures are adhered to in all commercial actions with new and existing customers
- Report to the Head of Sales & Key Accounts.
- Carry out any other tasks within your skill and capability on an as and when required basis
Role Requirements:
- You have a relevant logistics education and/or experience.
- You have experience in the Irish shortsea and European door-to-door markets.
- You have proven commercial and communication skills.
- You have a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- You are prepared to travel throughout Ireland and occasionally other parts of Europe.
- You are a flexible professional with the correct attitude and have the ability to think outside the box.
- You are a team player.
