Fast-growing Baldoyle-based food distributor now seek an experienced Counter Balance Forklift Driver on a temporary basis (Minimum 3 Months) with potential for a permanent position. Key Responsibilities:
- Loading & Unloading Deliveries: Efficiently handle incoming and outgoing shipments using a counterbalance forklift.
- Stock Allocation & Put Away: Organize and store products accurately within our warehouse to maintain inventory integrity.
- Van Driving: Operate a company van to collect packaging materials from suppliers within the industrial estate.
- Manual Handling: Safely manage and move goods in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist in tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Valid Forklift Licence: Certified to operate a counterbalance forklift.
- Over 25 years of age and full clean B driving licence required.
- Manual Handling Certificate: Demonstrated ability to safely handle and move goods.
- Experience: Proven experience as a forklift driver, preferably in a supply chain or warehouse environment.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
- Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Type:
Full-time, temporary (3 months) with potential for a permanent contract. Working hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 8 AM – 4 PM.
