Nice opportunity for a Customer Operations Specialist (Airfreight) to join a leading global logistics provider based in Ballycoolin.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • To ensure that the CT Client's service meets and exceeds our customer expectations with full and total visibility and control of all orders.

  • Ensure all responsibilities and activities are managed in accordance with established service levels, KPI's and SOPS's and is within Revenue & Cost parameters.

  • Ensure that all associated administrative requirements are complete and accurate. Proactively support and contribute to the achievement of Departmental, Branch and Company goals and objectives.

  • End-to-end-Visibility - visibility across the supply chain, including suppliers, transportation carriers & third-party logistics.

  • Collaborative information sharing - share information and collaborate in real-time.

  • Early warning alerts and exception management - resolve supply chain disruptions before they disrupt the client's business

  • Predictive and prescriptive decision -support - using predictive and prescriptive analytics.
     

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1-2 years multi-modal Freight Forwarding experience in Ireland.

  • A concise understanding of Airline/Ocean & Land network & equipment capabilities

  • A strong understanding of rates & peak operational periods

  • A solid understanding of data management systems e.g. booking platforms, track & trace interfaces, Claims process mechanisms and other freight management systems

  • IAA Aviation Security trained (ongoing training in line with current legislation)

  • Strong planning and organising skills with the ability to multi-task whilst working to tight deadlines

  • Ability to deliver key projects on-time and in line with objectives

  • IT skills (intermediate e.g. excel, word, PowerPoint)

  • Demonstrate strong effective technical operations competence

  • Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving and decision skills in multi-functional settings

  • Manage, identify & create KPI's in line with Job functionality

  • Flexibility to work in other operational functions in support of business demands.
