Leading South Dublin European Freight Forwarder now seeks a Customs Clearance Administrator to join their team.  You will be responsible for supporting the team in processing all customs shipments documentation and reviewing and resolving all customs related queries. You will work as part of a team to ensure all customs administrative tasks are completed efficiently and accurately to ensure our first in class service is not impacted.

**Own transport required as there is no access via public transport**

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Run all activities associated with processing customs documentation to include reviewing documentation received for accuracy and completeness 
  • Work closely with colleagues throughout the business and externally to advise and support them in custom-related matters 
  • Liaising with customers (internal or external where necessary) to obtain clearance instructions and information required to complete the customs declaration prior to shipping 
  • Processing import/export consignments as required 
  • Assist with monthly reports and retrieval of information 
  • General customs administration

Minimum Requirements

  • 1-2 years of Administrator experience within the logistics industry 
  • General understanding of a customs department desirable
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is crucial 
  • Excellent organisation skills 
  • Exceptional communication skills and command of the English language, both written and verbal 
  • Ability to work under pressure and to the highest of standards 
  • Mathematical and computer literacy 
  • Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills 

Terms: 
Full time permanent, Mon- Fri 09:00am - 18:00pm

Package:
€26,000 - €30,000 DOE
