Title: Distribution Manager (Night Shift)

Our client is one of the largest Independent residential distribution companies in Ireland are looking for a night-time Distribution Manager. This senior role involves the management of drivers who carry out the distribution of a range of daily publications delivered to residential homes during the night across the Dublin area.
The Distribution Manager needs to have a hands-on approach and will monitor all driver's work and carry out quality checks across all Dublin and on occasions cover and assist drivers from time to time alongside other managerial tasks
The operation runs 14 Midweek routes, 32 Saturday Routes and 12 Sunday routes all of which are completed between the hours of 1 am and 7 am each night.
This role is a full-time position managing the distribution across 7 nights. You will work 5 days out of those 7.
Requirements:
- Full license and own car. (Fuel allowance provided)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Quality Checking drivers work
- Managing weekly Rosta
- Ensure Drivers complete their rounds in a timely fashion
- Recruitment and Training of new drivers using Smart route Software.
- Covering routes when so required.
- Experience in managing a team of drivers
- Microsoft Proficient IT Skills
Essential Requirements and Qualities
- Great organisational skills
- Great communication skills
- Ability to manage people
- Good attention to detail
- Previous distribution experience (not essential)
This role will be a Senior Managerial role within the company, with the successful candidate working alongside the daytime distribution manager to ensure the efficient running of the operations across Dublin catchment area during the night.
Salary: €50,000.00 per year plus KPI-related bonus
