Accounts Administration Coordinator

Global Logistics company based in Dublin 17 now has a requirement for an experienced Accounts Assistant/Administrator with AP/AR experience to join their team. This is a fanatics opportunity with excellent benefits on offer including 25 days holidays.

Role Summary 

You will support the delivery of robust, business compliant financial administration required within the company. Activities include but are not limited to: 

  •   Processing vendor invoices (multi-currency)
  •   Supplier and Vendor reconciliation
  •   Customer & vendor account set up  
  •   Create & despatch customer invoices
  •   Compiling reports on operational and financial performance
  •   Supporting Finance manager in day to day activities 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  •   Vendor invoice payment
  •   Supplier reconciliation
  •   Supporting operation with accruals and invoicing
  •   Debt management
  •   Supporting FMC in departmental financial administration
  •   Query resolution

 Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have worked within an accounts department and have experience of purchase ledger, accounts payables and accounts receivables. This role is a key interface with our customers and vendors (globally) ensuring all financial and administrative tasks are completed quickly and efficiently - including month end administration, report running. The ideal candidate will bring with them ideas of how to promote good financial housekeeping. 

Essential

  •   Previous finance ledger experience
  •   Experience of Accounts Payables/Receivables
  •   Maths GCSE (or equivalent)
  •   Strong attention to detail
  •   Well organised. Ability to prioritise and manage diverse workload
  •   Assertive and tenacious character
  •   Proficiency in Microsoft office programs
  •   The ability to work as part of a team

Desirable (Not essential) 

  •    Experience of working in a freight environment
  •    Understanding of Airfreight, Ocean freight and import & export
  •    Exposure to dealing with overseas clients (vendors/customers)
  •    Ambition to develop broader understanding of freight business
  •    Previous experience with SAP

Terms:        Full time, Permanent

Salary:       Circa €40,000 + basic annual salary, Pension, 25 days holidays, Life Assurance, Bonus etc…
