Forklift Operator – Limerick
Our Client a Global Logistics operator has an excellent opportunity for a Forklift Operator working from their depot in Limerick.
The successful applicant will be responsible for scanning and offloading inbound and outbound freight, house-keeping and general transit terminal activity. We invite applicants to apply who have the relevant experience, skill set and enthusiasm for this role.
Please note Working hours are 23:30 until 07:30 – There is a 10% shift allowance for hours worked between 22.00 to 07.00
Responsibilities:
- Scanning and offloading of inbound freight and ensuring all out turns are complete.
- Scanning and loading all outbound freight.
- Handle all freight with care to ensure zero damages.
- Ensure Company Health and Safety standards are always followed.
- General housekeeping within the department.
- Perform other adhoc duties are required.
- Ensure Transit Terminal is kept clean and tidy.
- Previous experience handling hazardous freight would be a distinct advantage.
- Understand your department’s action plans and support the goals and targets set out by your manager.
Professional Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced transit terminal environment.
- Forklift licence
- Knowledge of freight scanning is a distinct advantage.
- Manual Handling Certified.
- Qualify Focused.
- Basic IT skills.
- A 'can do' customer focused attitude.

Permanent, Full time, Night shift Monday-Friday (10% Shift allowance 22.00-07.00)
