This exciting new role will be primarily based in South West Dublin and will be a pivotal role in their newly introduced European Network. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in the groupage or freight industry and with general customs industry knowledge experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Arranging multiple shipments with overseas agents.
- Planning and arranging multiple daily European import and export groupage shipments to and from Ireland.
- Scheduling collections and deliveries with international hauliers, ensuring best possible rates and service levels.
- Customs clearance documentation and paperwork processing to clearance agent (where required). Ability to do Customs clearances would be highly advantageous to ensure all shipments are cleared in a timely manner and in house if we can.
- Inputting shipment bookings for both groupage and full load operations on Azyra.
- Processing EDI’s, API and customers and partner communications.
- Arranging Irish collections and deliveries with relevant domestic hauliers in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous Freight operations administration experience in a fast-paced work environment.
- Exposure to working to KPI’s and the deliverance of same.
- Good Communications skills.
- Demonstrated ability to speak and write in English fluently.
- Second European language would be desirable.
- Good level of numeracy.
- Highly proficient on all Microsoft office and be familiar with Freight management systems and processing data through EDIs and APIs.
Terms:
Full time, Permanent, Office based, Monday to Friday,
Package-Salary Negotiable.
