The successful candidate will work as part of a team to manage all aspects of the Freight Forwarding Division.

This is an exciting, diverse, and hands-on role that would suit a motivated individual interested in a challenging and demanding role.

The primary duties and responsibilities include: 

  • Manage some key customer accounts
  • Manage operations team on a daily basis
  • Ensure Operational team are operating under standardised procedures.
  • Assisting account Executives with customer/supplier problems if required.
  • Co-ordinating new customer account allocation.
  • Assisting with customer insurance claims if required.
  • Monitoring sales accruals in the Freight Management System.
  • Working on a day-to-day basis with the Accounts Executives to ensure most effective running of the Dublin Office.
  • Work with other Freight Forwarding offices if cross-over of work exists.
  • Working with Finance Forwarding team to ensure finanical matters in order

Minimum requirements: 

  • Must be flexible with job role to accommodate an ever-changing work environment.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Good communication is key for this role.
  • Computer literate with well-developed IT skills across the Microsoft suite.
  • Must be available to work a minimum of four (4) days per week.

Working hours

Basic working hours are 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.
