Import/Export Coordinator, Dublin North 

This is a newly launching Control Tower division for an Emergency Freight Specialist and an exciting opportunity for a Junior to advance their knowledge and experience. The role requires nights working from 5:00 pm - 2:00 am (5/7) so experience working nights is ideal. 

Role summary  

This role will be to coordinate imports, exports, and drop shipments for customers specifically on an Emergency basis with training in this area provided. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations of shipments on an export and import basis as required. 
  • Coordinate with International logistics agents, airlines, and various teams within the company.
  • Supervise shipment progress from pickup to delivery. 
  • Work in collaboration with other departments within the company.
  • Communicating pre-alert along with track & trace information to departments and customers worldwide in English. 

Qualifications & Flexibility

  • Stamp 4, European Citizenship or other form of legal entitlement to take up Permanent Employment in the EU.
  • Customer service experience – essential. 
  • Available to work five shifts a week, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Perfectly Fluent Business level English.  
  • Customer-oriented.
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail. 
  • Ability to identify customer needs and provide customized solutions.
  • Ability to solve problems independently.
  • Service-oriented, team player, intelligent, willing to go the extra mile.

Terms:
Permanent, Full-time with flexibility required. 5/7 eight hour days with times to eb confirmed as the operation develops and the team grows. 

Package:
€35-€40,000 basic annual salary DOE
