Dublin 12  based company have an exciting opportunity for an inventory co-ordinator to join their distribution centre (DC) project team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the team, initially capturing and accessing inventory data ahead of the transition to the Company’s inhouse distribution centre.

Upon go live, the successful candidate will be responsible for the DC’s inventory maintenance, stock integrity, traceability and reconciliation on a daily basis. Working closely with the Warehouse and Management team to ensure WMS Configuration and operations processes are robust to limit any risk of errors and stock discrepancies.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Capture accurate data – weight, measurement of all items during 2019
  • Responsible for CUBISCAN Process and maintenance
  • WMS Super User
  • Responsible to implement processes that will limit any risk to stock issues
  • Implement Cycle counting process based on specific criteria (ABC, Financial, volume...)
  • Schedule and generate automated cycle counts
  • Responsible for ensuring the Replenishment process is in place to support efficient picking
  • Responsible for having the right products and quantities in the right location
  • Investigate stock discrepancies
  • Maintain audit trail for all stock items including +/- adjustments with reason codes
  • Communicate and work daily with Warehouse Manager and Leads to maintain stock integrity
  • Create a Year End Stock audit plan considering down time and business requirements
  • Schedule and generate Year End Stock Audit
  • Work and Support the Logistics Quality/ CI Manager on continuous improvements program
  • Provide input to solutions on a day to day basis
  • Implement and manage random audits for inbound, outbound and store delivery
  • KPI reporting – Generate and deliver KPI’s weekly
  • Communicate with the Stores and share best practice to improve stock management across the business
  • Maintain housekeeping to include battery charge area and equipment
  • Ensure all access and emergency exists are kept clear and all Health and Safety procedures are followed
  • Promote Safe work environment by leading by example and by on the spot correction of non-conformance. Adherence to Safety regulations always

Skills Required

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Previous experiences and knowledge of WMS / Excel and Word applications
  • Logistics Industry Experience
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Flexibility to meet business requirements
  • Ability to offer and implement solutions
  • Good analytical and methodical approach to work
  • A team player
  • Ability to communicate effectively to Management Team
  • Health and Safety Awareness
  • Valid MHE Licences desirable but not essential (Reach, PPT, Counter Balance)
