Our client, a logistics company based in Limerick, now has a requirement for an IT Technician to resolve technical support issues logged by end users and provide onsite and remote support for users.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist the IT manager as directed in the day to day operations of the IT dept

Troubleshooting, installing and configuring a variety of end user hardware.

Install, configure and support business specific applications.
-
MS Exchange administration
-
Install, configure and support business specific applications.
-
Manage the company's WAN and VPNs to remote sites
-
Management and support of endpoint protection applications.
Minimum Requirements
-
Must have a third level IT qualification (at least 2year diploma level) and be prepared to undertake additional training if required.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
-
Some post qualification experience is desirable but not essential.
-
Willingness to learn and apply new knowledge and techniques
-
Occasionally you may have to travel to and work at our remote depots.
