IT Technician - Limerick


Our client, a logistics company based in Limerick, now has a requirement for an IT Technician to resolve technical support issues logged by end users and provide onsite and remote support for users.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist the IT manager as directed in the day to day operations of the IT dept

  • Troubleshooting, installing and configuring a variety of end user hardware.

  • Install, configure and support business specific applications.

  • MS Exchange administration

  • Install, configure and support business specific applications.

  • Manage the company's WAN and VPNs to remote sites

  • Management and support of endpoint protection applications.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have a third level IT qualification (at least 2year diploma level) and be prepared to undertake additional training if required.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities

  • Some post qualification experience is desirable but not essential.

  • Willingness to learn and apply new knowledge and techniques

  • Occasionally you may have to travel to and work at our remote depots.
