Our client, a South-Dublin based logistics company, is currently seeking an energetic individual to work full-time in their Dublin office as an IT Support Technician to provide Information Technology support and assistance to all the company employees. This is a position for someone looking for their first job out of college and be exposed to an enterprise-computing environment. The qualified candidate should have good technical troubleshooting skills and excellent non-technical communication skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance and provide a high level of employees seeking problem resolution.
  • Support and maintenance Microsoft servers and desktop environment including software and hardware (PCs, printers, mobile devices, applications, and operating systems (Windows 10).
  • Support all Office 365 accounts, (including Outlook, SharePoint, Azure) etc.
  • Support local telecommunication and conferencing systems (telephones, videoconferencing, MS Teams).
  • Provide staff training on various business technology systems (Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, Win10, etc.)
  • Assist with administration of data backup management system
  • Assisting in IT projects to enhance business support
  • Develop project documentation

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in information technology or related field
  • Willingness to learn and problem solve in a dynamic environment
  • Strong hands-on experience of Windows 2008/2012 Server, Active Directory & Exchange 2008/2010
  • SAP B1 experience (supporting & troubleshooting) while desirable is not essential
  • Understand the importance of IT and security best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer facing skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability.
  • Ability to develop clear, concise documentation.
  • Ability to understand and execute change management activities

Terms:

8:30-5pm, on-site, Mon-Fri

Package:

€30,000 annual salary
