Established Dublin based Shipping Line now requires an experienced Imports Liner Agent to join their busy office. 1-3 years experience within a Shipping Line or Ocean Freight Forwarder required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provision of optimum Customer Service
- Management of all operational communication with customers and suppliers.
- Ensure smooth execution of the end-to-end shipment lifecycle, by working closely with the customer as well as internal stakeholders.
- Manage/improve day to day process interaction with own customers by leveraging detailed customer knowledge, actively engaging with Customer Service counterparts worldwide where relevant.
- Completing Bills of Lading, Operating internal Line systems, invoicing, customer service follow up's.
- Completion of Sea freight Procedures
- Adherence to procedures relating to the accrual of costs, invoicing, completion of shipment files and general administration.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 - 3 years of experience within a Shipping Line or Ocean Freight Forwarder (Imports) is required.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Good problem solver
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal Communication Skills
