Onsite Logistics Manager

€60,000 + Bonus & Benefits

This customer-focused role plays a key part in the global transportation of the customer's goods as they make their journey around the world.

  • Lead and motivate a team of contract logistics operators and freight administration staff.
  • Responsible for customer management and relationship building.
  • Understand the customer's core business and Supply Chain strategy and develop relationships with relevant stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Customer Services to ensure the shipping schedule is aligned with open order reports and is in line with customer requirements and compliance with shipping regulations.
  • Manage incoming receipts, replenishment of kits/kanbans, shipping-related consumables and site cycle counting programme.
  • Experience of SAP 
  • Actively train, develop and manage employees to perform their roles and responsibilities ensuring completion and certification prior to performing related activities and cross training
  • Chair monthly business alignment meetings with key stakeholders

You must have:

  • Previous Implant experience in a 3PL environment.
  • Ocean, land, and air-freight experience.
  • Supply Chain & Materials Management.
  • GMP and GDP for warehouse documentation.
  • Shipping compliance and transportation of Dangerous Goods e.g. IATA, IMDG and ADR
