A world-leading specialist food company located in West Cork is looking for a Performance Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity with a great package of benefits on offer for the right candidate to become a part of a global team. The purpose of this role is to work with the facilities manufacturing teams, along with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure the optimum performance of the factory manufacturing process.



  • Define project scope, deliverable, schedules, and tasks list in line with cost reduction schemes
  • Efficiency in project’s undertaken such as waste management and automated systems
  • Estimate duration and resource requirements
  • Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Facilitate setting of technical, functional, and business requirements
  • Develop detailed project plans including resource plans
  • Track/manage project from initiation to successful completion
  • Resolve Project issues, problems, and changes
  • Drive correct usage and development of all Performance related systems
  • Development of a structure that will allow for effective implementation of changes and individual elements of transformation
  • Implementation and ongoing development of the vision of Digital Production – to improve production efficiency
  • Liaise with suppliers and technology centres to understand new technologies and identify potential solutions for the plant  


Professional Experience & Qualifications 

  • Third level qualification in Manufacturing/Engineering or related discipline
  • Experience in an FMCG, fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment with demonstrable and transferable skills is desirable but not essential.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to deliver training and presentations to groups
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office tools
  • Proficient numerical ability to record, interpret and analyse key process data
  • Proficient written, numerical, and verbal skills




Permanent, Full time, Site-based, Monday-Friday, normalised office hours
