Our client is a global force in engineered materials and brings years of experience to developing innovative polymer solutions for its customers. Due to growth, the client is looking to add an experienced Process Engineer to their team.
Responsibilities:
- Implement suitable product and process changes to satisfy Customer Specific Requirements.
- Prepare and maintain SOP’s to comply with traceability requirements of ISO Standards as well as the specific requirements of Pharmaceutical, Food, Automotive & Aerospace industries.
- Provide technical support on processing and process capabilities
- Perform Root-Cause Analysis with process and test data to implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Respond to manufacturing problems in a timely manner to maintain and support production.
- Support and coordinate the implementation of capital investment programs.
- Maintain SOP’s to comply with traceability requirements of ISO Standards as well as Pharmaceutical, Food & Automotive industries.
- Support the implementation and upgrade of ‘Manufacturing 4.0’ into the facility.
Qualifications & Skills
- A degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or Industrial Chemistry.
- A minimum of three year's post-graduate work experience
- High level of PC skills (MS Package, Minitab, etc.)
- Self-motivated, able to make independent decisions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience with IATF core tools is an advantage.
- Understanding of Lean Six Sigma and ability to contribute and manage portions of a world-class manufacturing program & Manufacturing 4.0 is desirable.
