An integral part of the Supply Chain team, this role is primarily responsible for generating the production schedule for the Cork site, organising production to meet customers' demands. 

The role:

  • Ensuring capacity (labour and machine), materials and design are available to meet customer requested dates
  • Update production variances and adjust the production plan for best results
  • Inventory control and material usage in production
  • Root cause analysis for variance from plan; facilitate process improvements to reduce inventory and optimize the flow of product through production
  • Liaison with operations, engineering and shipping teams to review production plan and performance metrics
  • Maintain and analyse all production planning performance metrics
  • Work with Master Scheduler and Purchasing to understand longer-term demand requirements and ensure raw material supply plan can support business plan

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field of study; a comparable combination of education and years of experience will be considered
  • 6-10 years' of experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • APICS certification preferred
  • Experience in a regulated, controlled manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience or training with Lean and Visual Factory manufacturing tools
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving abilities

Terms:
Full time, permanent, site-based
