PTP Financial Assistant - Contract

Our client, a Multinational Biopharmaceutical company, is currently seeking an experienced PTP Specialist reporting to the PTP Accounting Team Lead, this is a 18-month contract role based in Cork.

  • Meet individual objectives and contribute to the achievement of the teams’ overall objectives ensuring daily targets are met
  • Training and development objectives are met with emphasis on ability to cover other team members following training plans as outlined by team manager
  • Contribute to the development of the Global Financial Shared Services culture to attain desired goals which will include efficiency and effectiveness targets
  • Identify problem areas in the process and work with the team manager to generate solutions
  • Build relationships with key points of contact within the GFS
  • Processing of PO and NON-PO invoices
  • Contribute to the maintenance and running of the scanning room & mailbox management


Professional Experience & Qualifications


  • Accounting Technician or relevant finance/accounting discipline desired
  • Knowledge and understanding of accounts payable procedures, systems, and double entry
  • 3 or more years’ experience in a Shared Services environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of Oracle an advantage
  • Proven experience in PTP processes and systems
  • Fluent written and verbal language skills sought




Contract, Full time, this is a hybrid role, there is requirement for you to be based on-site on Tuesday and Wednesdays the remainder of the week would be remote.
