Our client, one of the world's leading brands in outsourced Manufacturing & Logistics, is seeking to hire a Quality Engineer for a permanent part-time role.
Main purpose of job: Work with external and internal customers and suppliers to ensure the highest Quality standard is achieved. Additionally be involved in the BPI culture to drive continuous process improvement.
Duties & Responsibilities

Drive solutions to improve consistency in KPI’s using Continuous improvement & Lean manufacturing tools

Liaise with all functions to continuously interrogate the systems & processes eliminating waste and improving performance

Ensure processes enhance overall Quality performance and assure that all customer and regulatory agency requirements are met.

Pro-actively work with all customers to ensure the company is continually meeting and exceeding their requirements.

Work with all customers to ensure all Quality issues are dealt with in a timely manner and result in a minimum disruption to the customer.

Provides support to internal departments regarding process development and process risk analysis and assess new processes for effective continuous improvement.

Work with the Quality Team members to ensure ISO 9001, ISO 13485 & GDP conformity.

Represent the Quality dept for all NPI activity

Comply with Internal Policies & Procedures and with ISO certification requirements, specifically ISO 9001; ISO 13485 :GDP : ISO 14001 & ISO 27001.
Minimum Requirements:
Technical Competencies:
-
Third level qualification in Quality, Science, Engineering or equivalent

Relevant experience in a similar role

Auditing experience
-
Basic computer skills and background in SPC and statistics

Knowledge of ISO 9001, or ISO 13485 or GDP requirements
