Sales/ Business Development Executive (Chilled & Frozen Services) required for an established Freight Forwarder. You will be responsible for developing the sales and commercial activities for our client's logistics business.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implementing and managing agreed sales process from initial contact through to closing.
- Relationship building and business networking.
- Maintain contact with all clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction by building trust, communicating effectively, drive execution, collaborating with others, solving problems creatively and demonstrating high integrity.
- Lead development, margin management, revenue forecasting.
- Ability to develop and build bespoke solutions to existing and new customers.
- Time Management and self-organised.
- Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities in company CRM including sales calls, emails, meetings, closed sales, and follow-up activities.
- Meet or exceed agreed upon sales targets for revenue & margin.
- Complete understanding of pricing by business market/segment.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Technical capability – Transport Management System, Microsoft Suite.
Experience
- Minimum of 2-4 years sales experience in an international freight forwarder/3PL provider.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and sales targets within a freight forwarder/3PL provider.
- Proven ability to manage and develop managerial and C-level relationships
- Ability to identify and develop strong relationship with key decision makers.
