Senior Supply Chain consultant required to work with the Supply Chain Manager for a 3-month contract for a global manufacturing company.
Immediate start
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning and implementing activities related to material purchase, material control, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and stores functions.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the financial aspects of Supply Chain operations.
- Able to develop solutions to a wide range of complex problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Good planning and organizational skills coupled with strong time management skills.
- Advanced knowledge and skill with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and other reporting and tracking tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency across multiple practices within the Supply Chain department, to understand, coordinate and communicate across the competing demands of each.
- Staff training.
Required:
- 8 years minimum work experience in a manufacturing company.
- Proficient in IT
- Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to look for improvement in quality & effectiveness, willing to take initiative.
- Team worker who maintains a good and pleasant working atmosphere in the team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team, working with other departments to deliver objectives
- Innovative, Flexible and enthusiastic.
Terms:
Full time, 3-month contract
Package:
€65,000-€70,000
