Position: Technical Waste Acceptance Officer
Location: Dublin South (5 min walk from Luas Line)
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexibility required)
Contract Type: Full-time Permanent
About company and role: Our client is a hazardous Waste company that specializes in collecting and disposing of regulated substances, they are looking for a Technical Waste Acceptance Officer to join their Haz Admin Team. This role will suit someone who has a strong Chemistry background, preferably BSc or Diploma and IT background who is looking to develop their career to obtain a DGSA cert. You will have responsibility for the operational waste to ensure that the movement of waste takes place correctly.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Working as part of a team
- Processing of Clients Chemical Requests and classification of same
- Preparing waste so that it can be safely and properly loaded for transport.
- Comply with safety procedures and instructions in order to ensure a safe workplace for all.
- Regular communication with line manager
- Ensure compliance with current legislation in the transportation, handling and disposal of waste
Candidate requirements:
- Be able to work well on your own or as part of a team
- Chemical Qualification, BSc/Diploma/Cert
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Strong IT background is essential
Salary: €32,000 - €40,000 (DOE)
