Warehouse Manager

A long-established, growing logistics company is now seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for their 90,000 sq. ft facility holding 14,000 pallets. We are looking for a key individual to work, manage, plan and develop as they grow in close co-operation with senior management.

The Warehousing Manager will manage and is responsible for overseeing and managing all warehousing operations. Ensuring efficient and effective storage, distribution, and inventory management. This role involves coordinating with various departments to optimize warehouse processes and maintain high standards of safety and productivity. Due to the nature of the industry and customer demands, the role may require occasional weekend or evening work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of products, ensuring accurate inventory levels and timely stock replenishment.
• Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement warehouse processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure all warehouse activities comply with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions.
• Maintain high standards of quality control, ensuring products are stored and handled correctly to prevent damage.
• Coordinate with logistics providers and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Prepare and present regular reports on warehousing profitability and revenue growth, performance, including inventory levels, order fulfilment rates, operational efficiency and customer KPI’s  

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
• Accredited certification in relevant Warehouse and Logistics management
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, flexibility and leadership skills
