
Working alongside their warehouse team, the person will be a hands-on Supervisor with responsibility for turning what we currently have into a warehouse that more effectively services the needs of the Business.
Role and Responsibilities
- Firstly, and most importantly, involved in the day-to-day RH&D and Pick/Pack activities in the Warehouse – leading by example
- When settled into the environment - Identify the main areas of the Warehouse that require attention in the short to medium term
- With the Management team of the Business, develop a plan to get the warehouse from ‘Zero to Best in Class’ within 6 months
- Identify the areas of wasted resource within the current environment and suggest improvements
- Manage the current team of 3 operatives to Buy-In, accept and take ownership of the new Manager’s ideas
- Lead the Warehouse Team Daily to ensure all orders are despatched correctly and on time.
- Accountable for the HR issues for the warehouse team
- Communicate and provide feedback to the Operations Director weekly, and daily if needed
- First point of contact for any queries from the rest of the Business – Sales, Logistics, etc…
- Responsibility that your team are trained to the necessary standards
- Accountable to ensure Health and Safety procedures always in the busy environment
- Work and actively support continuous process improvements

Candidate Profile
- Excellent Communications Skills (written and oral)
- Previous experience and knowledge of WMS / Excel and Word applications
- Logistics Industry Experience
- Strong people Management experience
- A team player
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Flexibility to meet business requirements.
- MHE Certification – Reach, Counter Balance, PPT, LLOP
Type:
Full-time, 6-Month Contract, with the potential to go permanent
Salary:
€40,000 - €45,000 per year (Pro-Rata) PLUS €5,000 bonus on completion of the contract (Based on KPI's etc)
