Due to an unprecedented period of expansion, a Kilkenny-based e-commerce fulfilment hub now seeks experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisors. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have responsibility for a key operational section essential in supporting clients & overall capability. You will have a team of 6-7 direct reports overseeing the day shift tasks & activities and ensuring related work is completed on time.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Ensure compliance to EHS policy and standards.
- Supervise team workload and flow ensuring employees understand their respective duties and tasks.
- Set individual & collective goals for operational performance and deadlines.
- Maintain key performance metrics, prepare & submit reports as necessary.
- Maintain high level & standard of housekeeping (5S).
- Secure & alarm premises.
- Ensure all training is complete on time and relevant to SOP’s.
- Foster a continuous improvement (process & productivity) environment & culture.
- Problem resolution optimising operational and customer efficiency.
Experienced, Education & Skills:
- Proven experience as a supervisor or similar relevant role in a warehouse environment.
- 3rd Level qualification or equiv. in relevant discipline.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational & leadership skills
- Ability to remain calm & composed under pressure
- Strong work ethic: positive, can-do attitude
- Working knowledge of MS Office, JIRA & WMS
Terms:
Full-time, permanent, dayshift Monday to Friday
Package:
€32-38k depending on experience
