Our client,  a leading supplier of equipment and services to petrol stations and oil companies in Europe and Africa now seek to hire a Warehouse Operative to join their team in Baldonnell, Dublin 22.

Ideally candidates will have their own transport as the area is not well serviced by Public Transport.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receiving storing, assembling, packaging and unpacking goods
  • Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of goods
  • Issuing of stock, tools and equipment to engineers
  • Recording of stock receipts onto the computer system to enable accurate stock inventory
  • Ensure all received stock is undamaged and all ordered is correct
  • Monitor stock levels and organize existing inventory
  • Picking and dispatching of standard stock items
  • Inform logistics manager of any non-conformance stock items
  • Storing stock safely and ensuring the yard, stores are tidy and well organized
  • Record returns from installation engineers to pass on to Logistics Manager
  • Update stock locations as required on the computer system and ensure all are labelled correctly
  • Run Van replenishment weekly for service engineers
  • Adhere to company quality, environment, health and safety requirements, regulations and safe work practices
  • Drive company vehicle when needed doing collections, deliveries
  • Responsible for the smooth running of our Service Desk, logging approximately 300-400 calls per week, via telephone and email. 
  • Part of a team of 3 Area Controllers, with responsibility for your own group of engineers.  
  • We cover Petrol Station Service nationwide, and you will be responsible for logging calls and allocating them to relevant local engineers. Engineers are also located Nationwide, so good geographical knowledge is preferable. 
  • This role is suited to a team player, with great communication skills as you will be working closely with other Area Controllers, engineers, station owners and other internal departments daily. 
  • Service calls are received via email and over the phone and it is also necessary to Update online portals for some of our larger customers.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of store/warehouse and stock control experience required
  • Strong MS Office/Database skills
  • Valid Forklift license
  • Full driving license
  • Truck license desirable
  • Strong communications skills including fluent English
  • Ability to work on own initiative
