Leading South Dublin European Freight Forwarder are seeking to recruit Warehouse/Forklift Operatives to join their team in Rathcoole, Co. Dublin. The successful applicants will be responsible for order picking, goods in receipts, stock controlling, house-keeping and general warehouse activity.

**Own transport required as there is no access via public transport**

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for operating and maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse while keeping a safe and secure working environment
  • Provide the highest level of picking standards of customer products
  • Ensure all deliveries are checked in accurately and that no sub-standard or incorrect goods are received into the warehouse
  • Ensure that Goods Receiving and Dispatching procedures are followed at all time
  • Protect and handle all stock to ensure ZERO damage
  • Understand your department’s action plans and support the goals and targets set out by your manager
  • Ensure Company Health and Safety standards of performance are followed at all times
  • Assist in cycle counting and stock checks
  • Perform other related duties as required
  • General housekeeping in the warehouse

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in a fast paced warehouse environment
  • PPT licence required
  • Manual Handling Certificate required
  • Fork Truck Driving Licence including VNA desirable
  • Strong warehouse management systems experience
  • Overall understanding of the Contract Logistics process
  • Quality focused to ensure highest level of accuracy on all processes
  • Strong advocate of Health and Safety policies throughout the company

Full time (14:00pm - 22:00pm & 18:00PM - 02:00AM Shifts)

€13.11 per hour plus 10% shift allowance for hours worked between 22:00pm - 07:00am.
