Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking to join a dynamic and growing company in the freight industry? Our client, an Irish-owned company who provides exceptional global freight services, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join the team team
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Processing and registering purchase ledger invoices and distributing them for approval.
- Setting up and managing supplier payments on the system
- Reconciliation of key supplier statements
- Emailing remittances to suppliers
- Processing payment runs.
- Resolve any invoice queries as and when they arise.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Prepare Vat returns.
- Assist with general ad hoc accounts duties and assist the financial director.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in an account’s payable role
- Experience working in a freight company
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritise daily work requirements.
- Working to a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail
Terms:
Full time permanent
