Our client requires a Part-Qualified Accountant to join their Finance team as an Accounts Assistant.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly divisional management accounts and detailed commentary on variance analysis including business key performance indicators, managing and reporting on group profitability.
- Supporting the delivery of multi-year financial forecasts, annual budgets, weekly, monthly and quarterly trading forecasts.
- Formulation and presentation of key financial information to Directors & Management in a timely manner on all business reporting and key commercial decisions.
- Production of weekly accounts.
- Assisting Year end Audit preparation.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Looking after liability side of balance sheet including creditors, accruals.
- Update rolling forecast model with actual results.
- Contribute to the greater finance team in driving and improving quality of financial analysis reporting provided to Directors & Management.
- Liaise with internal and various external partners and stakeholders including ERP and business management systems,
- Assist with rigorous enforcement and documenting internal control procedures, making sure all procedures are kept up to date.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Part-Qualified ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA Accountant.
- Ideally candidate would have 1-2 years general accounting experience, and this may suit a candidate looking to move from practice into industry and ambitious to progress their career in industry.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
