Location: Dublin South
Working Hours/Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday (39 Hours per week)
Salary: €35,000 - €40,000 per year (DOE)

About the Company
Our client is one of Ireland’s leading wholesale and distribution plumbing and bathroom companies in Ireland. They are now looking for an experienced and qualified Accounts Technician to join their team.
About the Role:
Your new role will be to assist the Group Finance Manager in all aspects of financial accountancy, including preparation of management accounts, of VAT & Intrastat returns, payroll & revenue returns, cash management and supporting the Month/Year End close process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of management accounts ROI/NI
- Preparation of VAT & Intrastat return.
- Cash management and accounting.
- Payroll & Revenue returns ROI/NI.
- Provision of information and support to tax advisors
- Provision of information and support to external auditors
- Supporting other departments, providing information and reports whenever required
- Support month-end and year-end close process

Requirements:
- ATI Qualified (Essential)
- Currently studying for the ACCA, CIMA, CPA or similar certification desirable
- Have two years work experience in a finance role (Essential)
- Proficient knowledge of the Windows environment and particularly Excel spreadsheets.
- ERP accounts management experience / with Intact is preferable.
- Analytical attitude
