Terms: Part-time (20 hrs), permanent, office-based, Mon-Fri
Package: €20 p/h (approx €40,000)

A Dublin 9-based logistics company now seek an experienced part-time (20 hrs a  week) administrator to support the Operations Manager with the smooth running of day-to-day operations. The role will involve administrative support across compliance, safety, and scheduling functions.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide general administrative support including filing, document management, and record-keeping.
  • Assist with Fire Safety and Health & Safety documentation, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Support compliance processes and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Schedule and coordinate internal/external appointments, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Handle bookings and assist with job scheduling, providing cover when required.
  • Liaise with staff and external partners to ensure accurate communication and documentation.
  • Maintain office supplies, equipment, and administrative resources.
  • Support wider team with ad hoc administrative duties as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2–3 years admin experience in logistics, transport, or a similar operational office role.
  • Exposure to Health & Safety / Fire Safety documentation and reporting.
  • Skilled in managing calendars, bookings, and training/meeting arrangements.
  • Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with database/scheduling system experience.
  • Detail-focused with strong record-keeping and document control ability.
  • Clear written and verbal skills for liaising with staff, suppliers, and external partners.
  • Adaptable, able to provide cover and handle ad hoc administrative duties within part-time hours. Work outside of normal hours may occasionally be required as business needs dictate.
