Air & Sea Forwarder

Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound air and sea freight shipments, ensuring efficient operations, accurate documentation, and high-quality customer service. The role involves liaising with customers, carriers, customs, and internal teams to support smooth import and export processes while maintaining operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor import and export air and sea freight shipments.
• Prepare and manage shipment documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Generate operational documents such as booking confirmations and delivery orders.
• Communicate with airlines, hauliers, customs authorities, customers, and international offices.
• Provide shipment tracking, status updates, and customer support.
• Manage quotations, pricing requests, billing, and supplier invoicing processes.
• Produce KPI reports and customer-related operational analysis.
• Maintain accurate filing systems and departmental administrative records.
• Support colleagues during busy periods through cross-functional collaboration.
• Carry out additional reasonable duties as required by the business.

Requirements

• Experience in air freight imports and exports.
• Knowledge of ocean freight import and export operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
