Permanent Air & Ocean Operator required for Freight company based in Dublin 9, to provide a professional and efficient Air & Sea freight operations service to both internal and external customers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Handling shipment from booking to delivery
- Issuing quotations directly to clients / procurement of rates
- Dealing with Operations problems/queries with Overseas Offices/Partners and clients whenever required
- Issuing pre-Advice and then Advice of Arrival and Release Orders to the Clients
- Arranging Customs Clearance and Delivery when required
- Invoicing the Client
- Accruing charges from Creditors
- Other duties as deemed necessary
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong experience in an Air and Ocean operations role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge and experience with customs procedures and formalities.
- Ability to solve problems under pressure.
