Air Export Operator

An established freight forwarder is currently seeking an experienced Air Export Operations Executive to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process export bookings for airfreight shipments
• Track shipments from booking through to delivery and ensure timely customer invoicing and payment
• Deliver high-quality customer service to both clients and internal teams
• Coordinate with airlines to secure competitive rates and efficient transit times
• Communicate effectively with warehouse and transport teams regarding collections and freight handling
• Prepare and label goods for export
• Handle sales and purchase invoicing, resolving any discrepancies or queries
• Respond to rate requests and issue accurate quotations
• Support the development and growth of the airfreight service
• Collaborate with international agent network to ensure seamless end-to-end service

Requirements:

• Provide holiday cover for operations colleagues as required
• Offer administrative support to the wider airfreight team
• Occasionally attend client meetings when needed
• Carry out other ad hoc tasks as assigned by management
