We are currently seeking an experienced Air Freight Forwarder to join a busy logistics operation in Shannon. You will coordinate international shipments, manage documentation and liaise with customers and overseas partners. This is a temporary-to-permanent position upon successful completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage import and export air freight shipments.
- Liaise with airlines, agents and customers.
- Prepare shipping and customs documentation.
- Track shipments and resolve delays.
- Coordinate customs clearance procedures.
- Obtain freight quotations and negotiate rates.
- Maintain accurate shipment records.
- Provide excellent customer service.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in air freight or freight forwarding.
- Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs regulations.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Good IT skills and knowledge of freight systems.
