Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Air Freight Forwarder to join a busy and fast-paced logistics operation based in the Dublin Airport area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated freight professional looking to develop their career within an established international freight forwarding environment.
Working Pattern
- Week 1: Five shifts, 08:00 – 20:00
- Week 2: Two shifts, 08:00 – 20:00
- Rotating shift pattern
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage international air freight shipments from booking through to delivery.
- Liaise with airlines, agents, customers, and customs authorities.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including Air Waybills and customs paperwork.
- Monitor shipment progress and provide regular updates to customers.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company procedures.
- Resolve operational issues and support customers with shipment enquiries.
- Maintain accurate records within the freight management system.
Requirements
- Previous experience in air freight forwarding is essential.
- Strong knowledge of import and export procedures.
- Experience with customs documentation and airline bookings.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service focus.
