Air Import Supervisor – Key Points
- Support the Air Import Manager in the day-to-day running of the department
- Oversee air import operations ensuring compliance with company procedures and customs/regulatory requirements
- Maintain strong relationships with airlines, hauliers, and external vendors
- Assist with pricing, routing solutions, and supporting customer quotations
- Help manage financial processes including vendor payments and credit control
- Support onboarding, training, and workload coordination within the team
- Identify process improvements and support system enhancements
- Assist with customer retention and service reviews
Qualifications Needed
- Experience working in air freight, logistics, or freight forwarding
- Strong understanding of import procedures and customs documentation
- Relevant logistics or supply chain qualification (preferred)
