About the Role:
Ensure compliance with and implementation of customer-specific work processes and procedures. Responsible for the effective coordination, progress chasing and management of all required communications specific to the day-to-day import/export of shipments, in line with customer requirements and contractual agreements in place.
Responsibilities:
- Entry of shipments and processing of import-export orders
- Supporting and advising the customers and agents
- Preparation and monitoring of quotation offers
- Ensuring and processing billing to customers
- Processing of special orders, as well as complaints
- Preparation of delivery dockets, customs documents, etc.
- Monitoring appointments
- Documentation and optimisation of workflows
- Support of supervisors in projects
- Documentation and filing of files
- Performing general administrative tasks
- Execute all Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (as applicable).
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Air or Sea Freight Forwarding within the local market
- Strong knowledge of customs brokerage processes, regulations, and classification, valuation, and origin procedures.
- Familiarity with documentation processes for ocean, air, and road shipments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, organised approach to work.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Fluent in English and eligible to work full-time and permanently onsite without visa restrictions.
