Our client, a leading Freight Forwarder now requires an Airfreight Export Operator based in their office in Dublin North.

Role:                      

  • Supports the Export Supervisor and works effectively with all other export staff to ensure effective day to day running of the department.

  • To process the exports as per our SOPs  

  • Check post flights / CSS daily and effectively deal with any queries/discrepancies.

Responsibilities:    

  • Works effectively with warehouse manager (or warehouse team members) and national haulage companies to ensure accurate and timely collections from customers.

  • Works effectively with customers on their shipping needs and ensures all collections, paperwork and details of shipment are completed accurately.

  • Cutting export documents and Export Custom clearance, following up with pre alerts and flight details to the customer and overseas offices

  • Deals effectively with overseas offices on sales leads, queries, and tracing shipments

  • Ensures invoicing is completed and sent to finance to ensure all billing is completed in line with Finance instructions and processes.

  • Meets or exceeds customer service standards for both internal and external customers.

Skills:

  • 2 / 4 years’ experience as an Air Exports Co-Ordinator.

  • Experience in freight/logistics.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication and reporting skills.

  • Effective planning, organisational and monitoring skills.

  • Effective good time management skills.

  • Aptitude for problem solving.

  • Attention to detail and achieving high personal standards

  • Ability to work in a pressurised and dynamic environment.

  • The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
