Our Client, a leading Freight and Logistics Company based in Dublin 15 now require an Air Freight forwarder to meet customers’ requirements for the safe and efficient transport of their cargo effectively and in accordance with company operational procedures and statutory requirements including Health & Safety to the satisfaction of clients and the profit of the company

Duties & Responsibilities

Completion of Air Freight Procedures

Timely and effective communication with Customers, partners & internal departments via e-mail & telephone.

Liaise with Operations and overseas offices to ensure customer commitments are delivered upon.

Effective monitoring to ensure deliveries are completed within the agreed timelines.

Be able to effectively and accurately perform customs clearances
-
Ensure that all Delivery and Collection consignments are conforming to correct information.
-
Pro-active problem solving with customers and colleagues when issues arise.

Provision of PODs to meet customer requirements where necessary.

Provide KPI and reports both externally and internally where required

General Day to Day administrative duties.
Minimum Requirements:
-
Must have minimum of 2+ years relevant air freight experience within a freight forwarding company.

Strong customs clearance knowledge.

Possess a positive customer focus
-
Good organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written).
-
Good IT skills to include Microsoft Office & Imports systems.
-
Must be flexible and have the ability to work on own initiative
