Job Position

International removal and relocations specialist now seek to hire an Assistant Operations Manager with previous international freight or logistics experience. Working from their Dublin offices, you will be part of a small team and will support the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the national and international movement of both private and corporate accounts via road, sea and air.
• Prepare customs clearance, insurance and shipping documentation
• Schedule surveyors in order to provide accurate quotations
• Ensure a high level of customer service and attention to detail is delivered to all clients
• Build relationships with staff, suppliers and agents
• Answering queries in a prompt manner
• Maintaining files to closure ensuring profit margins are achieved
• Managing key accounts
• Managing soft landing services for clients relocating families to and from Ireland.
• Qualifying sales leads, gathering requirements, issuing quotations and following up to receive feedback for management.
• Software superuser
• Mentoring and training new staff

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate in Transport, Logistics or SCM
• Minimum 1 years work experience ideally within an International Freight or Logistics supporting role.
• Strong, confident communicator
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good IT skills (Word, Excel)
