We are an established and specialist Supply Chain and logistics recruitment agency. Logiskills have been successfully serving the needs of the Irish supply chain sector for 20 years and continue to grow from strength to strength.

We are now seeking a talented and results-driven Business Developer to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating new business within the B2B environment, particularly in the manufacturing and logistics sectors in Ireland. This role will be office-based and will involve working four mornings or afternoons a week, totalling 16 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and target new business opportunities within the manufacturing and logistics sectors in Ireland.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, challenges, and opportunities, and use this information to develop tailored business development strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target companies.
  • Identify client needs and pain points and articulate how our recruitment solutions can address them effectively.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing deals.
  • Collaborate closely with the delivery team to ensure a seamless transition from business development to candidate placement.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the management team.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven track record of success in B2B business development, preferably within the recruitment industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the manufacturing and logistics sectors in Ireland, including key players, industry trends, and challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients at all levels.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with a focus on delivering value and building long-term relationships.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
