A leading global logistics company now seek an experienced Business Development Manager with significant experience selling Air Freight Forwarding solutions to the pharma, healthcare and medical device verticals. Reporting to the Country Manager, this role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive new business growth on a national scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals and targets.
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and medical device industries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and decision-makers in the target industries.
  • Actively seek new business and expand the client base through effective prospecting and networking.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and industry developments.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Develop customized proposals that showcase their air freight forwarding solutions and address client needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to optimize national sales efforts.

Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience in sales within the air freight or logistics industry.
  • Demonstrated success in selling logistics solutions to the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical device industries.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally as needed.
