A leading Meath-based European transport company is now seeking an experienced Business Development/Commercial Manager. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be tasked with developing new, profitable business in line with agreed targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arranging business development meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years proven sales experience as a business development manager or sales executive selling European Transport services to the Irish market
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Proficiency in English
  • Market knowledge (Customers & Competitors)
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills

Type: 
Full-time, Permanent, Office-based, Monday to Friday, Normal working hours
